Finley Bizjack gives his thoughts on college programs recruiting him, showing interest, discusses visits, and more
Bizjack is a 6-3 Shooting Guard from Trophy Club, TX, goes to Byron Nelson HS and plays AAU with Southern Assault.
He's a bonafide scorer, has a high basketball-IQ, known as a good teammate, coachable, & maintains a 4.0 GPA.
Finley Bizjack: "I’m a competitor who will win at all costs. Any adjustment or what I’m asked to do in a game, I do to the best of my ability and you get a scorer who knows how to create for others, and a kid who is trying every day to be the best player I can be."
He discusses Oral Roberts visit: "The Oral Roberts visit went really well. The coaching staff really care, they even have shirts that they wear that say “CARE”. They’re all about development. The visit was awesome. They made sure to let me know I was a major priority recruit for them."
He plans on visiting TCU in a few weeks, and Stanford. His thoughts on Stanford: "I’m psyched for my Stanford visit!! One of the guys from my AAU program, Harrison Ingram, is a freshman there this year."
Texas Tech-"I like tech. Both of my grandparents graduated from there and my grandfather played baseball there. Tech is a really big basketball school here in Texas so I was really excited when they showed interest in me."
Kansas- "Basketball program, basketball experience is hard to rival. I visited there right before Covid hit. The games are insane. The basketball dorm was crazy bro! I’m a big fan of Jalen Wilson, he’s super cool off the court too. "
Texas-"UT, Coach Beard, nuff said. Amazing program. Big time basketball school! They have not offered me yet, but Coach Beard came to a few of my games this summer. "
George Washington-"George Washington has recruited me from the start. I really like the coaching staff! They’ve been very strong in their recruitment of me which I really have enjoyed!"
When asked about his on-court weaknesses, "Rebounding, I don't always think to go in for every rebound".
His goals for this upcoming high-school season: "Win district, Make it four-plus rounds in play-offs, points in-game record, assists in-game record, free throws in-game record".
Finley Bizjack is a special talent coming out of Texas, one of the best 2023's in the south.
I am excited to continue to track his recruitment as well as his progress on the court and in the classroom.
